SHINE has several ways you can connect with us and the community.

Receiving ​ This is a time when we host events at different venues so  women from all over can attend for an afternoon of praise and fellowship. There will be a meal and praise and worship. Then a speaker-facilitator will challenge you to dig deeper into your faith walk, as we break into small group  discussions on how we can implement change in our own lives and communities.

Responding  This is a time where women come together, from all over the area, to serve the evening meal at the Downtown Rescue Mission's branch for Women and children called the Owen's House. After serving the meal, we coordinate events for the women and children separately. The mothers have a more focused biblical instruction, while the children have more fun and games. A great place to volunteer.

Also...on Thursday afternoons we minister to the ladies in the emergency overnight shelter.  We present various biblical lessons as well as practical application for the women there.
